How to Make a Sling?
Slings are used to immobilize a shoulder or arm that has been injured. To make a sling will you need to have some type of material or cloth that is about 5 feet wide at the base and at least 3 feed long on the sides to use for adult. You need to cut a triangle from this material but if you don’t have any scissors handy just fold the material you have into a triangle shape. The arm should be placed with the person’s elbow at the point of the triangle with the wrist positioned midway along the bottom of the triangle. The two other points of the triangle should be brought up and tied behind the neck. To keep the injured arm completely still use another piece of cloth or material to tie the sling to the body to prevent movement.
