How to make a folder in Windows XP not add files to it?
Right click a blank space in any other folder. Select new/folder. In security set the owner of the file to one user only, you may need to create the user first. Then set the security options to not inherit permissions, set the owner to full control, and set the anyone user to read only. Then the OWNER will be able to move files into the folder, but nobody else will be able to modify them. These settings are best done on the pro versions of any Microsoft OS. Home versions are far to limited.
