How to make a claim in case of a Life Insurance Policy?
On the death of the life insured, the claimant needs to give the following documents to the insurance company: -A death certificate of the deceased -The details of the life insurance policy, as it will be required to be mentioned in the claim -The claim form from the insurance agent or the insurance company’s office. -Discharge Form should be returned duly signed by the policyholder over a Re. 1/- revenue stamp and duly witnessed -The Policy Document in original -Age Proof of the life insured In case of Maturity / Survival Benefits Claims the policyholder needs to give the following documents.
