How to make a bow and arrow from scratch?
If your building it for a beginner, I would first find the right stick, about an inch and a half around the whole length and about 4 feet long, depending or the user of the bow. Soak the stick in water for about 4 hours. Bend the stick just enough to make the curve of the bow, Find a way to brace the stick in that position, such as laying the stick in a tub about 3 feet long and setting a brick on the center. now alow the stick to dry at least over night. Once the stick is completely dyr, use a utility knife to cut a vertical slit in each tip. Find a peice of twine, fishing line, or other material that can be streched only slightly. You want the string to be tight once in place. Cut it to be about three an a half feet long. Tie a solid knot in each end. Split the knotted ends into the vertical slit you cut in the stick tips. You should have to slightly bend the stick more to get the string in the slits. As for the arrow, you will need another stick, about 2 feet long and about a half a
