How to make a 3 hour bus travel interesting?
Sleep: take a window seat so you can lean against the window and bother no one. Pass time: music player w/ ear phones, small DVD player w/ ear phones, books, magazines, text message item, laptop for play or work, pack of cars to play solitaire, some paper and write a nice letter to a grandparent or aunt/uncle, get a detailed map of the path and follow the map as the bus goes, in turn learning each inch/town on the way, to learn what is around you. Many things can be done to pass the time, 3 hrs isn’t much, wait till you are stuck in a vehicle for some 11 hrs, THEN it becomes a item to pass time. I’ve even danced and sang just to keep myself occupied during long drives.
