How to lower blood pressure immediately?
Can u lower blood pressure immediately with blood pressure medication? My blood pressure was extremely high – 185/155 and 199/109. Doc put me on ACE inhibitor, one class of bp meds, and pressure dropped within 12 hours to 111/72. However, the med made me sick; nausea, weakness, blood vessels in eyes dialated, just to name a few. Changed meds to a calcium blocker and bp still lower than initial readings, but not quiet as low as ACE inhbitor. From what I understand, there are 50-100 differnet meds for bp. You have to work with your doc to find the right one for you.
