How To Learn The Butterfly Stroke Quickly?
Work on each bettering each aspect of butterfly. While kicking, you want your strength to come from your core and hips, not from your knees. Practice butterfly kicks with a kickboard until it feels more natural, and like you are using your whole body to make the movement. If you are doing it right, your abs should get sore after a little bit. For your stroke, pull the water hard! You need to reach far to lengthen each stroke as well, which will make it more efficient. When going for a breath, make sure that you don’t get too far out of the water – get your head up far enough to get the air, and then tuck your chin back down and into the water quickly. If you can, take two non-breathing strokes for each breath that you take. As for putting it together, you should take one strong kick when at the start of your pull on each stroke, and then another when your arms are exiting the water. Good luck!
