How to keep the squirrels out of bird feeder?

There is a device available that is weight sensitive and when a squirrel jumps onto the the feeder, the feeder starts spinning. Evenutally the squirrel loses interest because of all the spinning and falling off (usually no injuries) and they go elsewhere for dinner. Saw it on AFV on tv and then in a catalog. Personally, I would rather watch the squirrels eat and let the birds eat what is left.
