How to keep sound quality when converting to mp3?

0

So basically I have MP3 files that are strictly “beats” or hip-hop intrumentals that I use to rap over. When I start in logic I make a new Audio Track and drag the MP3 beat into logic. Takes a minute to transfer and then the MP3 copied into logic sounds the same as the original copy no issues. I then rap over the beat and make sure everything sounds smooth. When Im happy I bounce the files to turn into a MP3. So my problem lies now with the finished MP3, the quality is TERRIBLE to say the least. It seems the actual beat has been turned way down (when listening in logic before bounce it sounds great!) As well the actual quality of the beat and the raps has gone way down! I tried all the different settings in the MP3 selection but nothing significant changed. Is there some sort of compression tool or something else to improve the quality of the finished product? I truly don’t know where to go from here for I’m no logic “pro” so I’m hoping to get a few tips that can help me, or guide me i
