How to keep matte auto paint clean?
Coincidence, one of my clients brought a matte black Altima Coupe in the other day and requested the same thing. I first went about cleaning the car, as I would with any other, with Chemical Guy’s Citrus Wash using a 5:1 (water to wash ratio). Since your paint is new i would skip the claying and polishing step. Then I would use a paint cleanser, I used Zymol HD Cleanse with the client’s car. Then I followed through using Zymol Carbon Wax. In the end, the car was still matte but had depth to it.
