To install an XM Satellite radio antenna, you need to mount it on the highest part of your car, away from any obstructions, and at least 3 inches from a door or window. Use a putty knife to separate the rubber molding of the window and run the wire through it. Don’t bend or crimp the wire. Run it along the inside of the car to the receiver, using the putty knife to tuck it into the interior molding.
