There is a newer easier way to install ubuntu in windows. It is called wubi. You download the file and run it like any other program. It will download and install ubuntu on you computer and not affect windows. You can use ubuntu as long as you like and if you decide to remove it you go to windows add or remove programs and that will completely remove it. Here are some links, be sure to read them to see if this is what you want. I would also suggest that you read the other links so that you will be able to use ubuntu smoothly. Have fun.
