How to install the EclipseUML jar file ?

Download the necessary software according to our Download area. Install Eclipse. In this howto we assume that you have successfully installed java. There are two ways to install our jar file. If the jar.exe is associated with the .jar extension inside your operating system, a double click on our jar file is enough to launch the installation procedure. If not, open a shell under your operating system, go into the directory where you downloaded EclipseUML then type the following : java -jar eclipseUML_enterpriseEdition-installer_X.Y.Z.YYYYMMDD.jar Re-start Eclipse and verify that everything is installed. To do so, go to Help->About Eclipse Platform->Plug-in Details. Check EMF, GEF and EclipseUML entries according to our zip installation procedure.
