How to install replacement part on Mountfield Princess lawn mower?
The flap connecting the mower to the grass box fell apart and i have obtained a replacement. The flap is held in place by a bar and a spring lock. I cannot find any way of removing the casing of the mower to allow me to take out the bar and fit the replacement flap. There is some unusual kind of nut on either side of the casing but i can’t work out how to undo this or whether it will actually relaease the casing and let me take out the bar and spring.
