When I think of how to install a kitchen back splash in tile I think of floor tile. The process is similar. First you mount backer board to the wall. Then you mix your mortar and spread it on the wall. Then starting from the center you place your tile. Allow tile to dry and mix your grout. Spread the grout over the whole surface.
