How to install door handles on a 1993 pontiac grand prix se?
When you open the door there are a couple bolts on the inside of the door jam that holds that entire black plate in place. This is replaced as a unit and does not come apart from the door handle. And if I remember correctly there is also a screw or bolt holding the linkage together that needs to come apart…No big deal! The door handle is all part of this entire assembly and is replaced as such. Do not replace this with a cheap Chinese knock off, as it will fail early if it works at all. Don’t learn the hard expensive way..
