Obtain Tanis small gasket type probes from Tanis. This probe will fit under the Tanis heater. Readings are a few degrees low. Ask for “JPI combination Tanis Gaskets.” New gasket probes are $55 each and replace the older $165 Tanis adapters. The cylinder with the factory probe does not have a heater.
