How to Install a Door Knob?
When you purchase a new door knob there will be detailed instructions in the box that you can reference for the installation. Most knobs will contain a center locking cylinder and a handle for the inside and outside. If you are replacing an existing knob then your door will have a hole already pre-drilled. You can separate the inside and outside knob and begin by placing the outside knob and locking mechanism through the hole in the door. You can then insert the inside knob and screw in place.
