How to Improve «Inline Multiscale Image Replacement»?
A couple of weeks ago I’ve published a new technique on how to improve the publication of high-resolution images on the web: http://gasi.ch/blog/inline-multiscale… As I stated in my article, this was my first iteration on this technique. A couple of people have justifiably argued that the method is too invisible for users. I agree and I would like to improve the visibility of zoomable images. Now I’d like to gather some ideas on what’s the best way to indicate zoomable images in a site! Please post your suggestions below.
