How to I send and recieve emails whilst roaming?
The Global Roaming Service basically enables you to connect to the internet via your VIA NET.WORKS account through other ISP’s for a small charge. For us to allow you to use a VIA NET.WORKS mailserver to send mail whilst connect to another ISP normally would require us to have an open relay. It is through open relays’ that spammers send their email. As a solution to this problem VIA NET.WORKS use Authentication SMTP to allow users to send mail when connected through other ISP’s.
