How to I get fingerprinted for a background check?
The Jamestown Police Department provides fingerprinting services 7 days a week to Town residents and Jamestown School Department employees or prospective employees. All others must go to their local police department or the RI Attorney General’s Office located at 150 South Main Street in Providence. The fee for being fingerprinted is $35 payable by cash (exact change) or check. The results will be mailed directly to your employer or prospective employer typically within 7 business days.
