You may be wondering how to hotwire, or hot wire, a motorcycle if you’ve ever list the keys to your ride. The answer is the same as with a car–you find the starter wire and ignite it while bypassing the security feature of the key starter. Of course, this works only if it is your own motorcycle and you’re simply short on time and eager to get home. If you are trying to steal someone else’s motorcycle, the moment you touch the wires, you will be arrested and sent to prison. And of course, given the demeanor of a lot of bikers, prison is where you’ll be safest if you’re messed with the wrong bike.
