How to hook my creative labs zen vision m up to my 07 eclipse car audio system?
Yes, as a matter of fact, I just bought a zen vision m (zvm) too. I bought a couple of cables after talking to the salesperson at Best Buy (I drive a 1997 Toyota Camry). He said that the cables you get depends on what kind of car radio inputs you have (the inputs at the back of the radio that you can’t see). I got two cables totalling $40-50, and installation at Best Buy will be $15-20. I haven’t gotten the cables installed yet. The way it will work is this: a cable into the radio has a y-cable adapter at the other end, and a cable attached to that will plug into the headphone jack of your zvm (or any other device with a headphone jack, for that matter…very convenient). Keep in mind that this solution will give you very high quality sound, but in order to charge your zvm in the car, you’ll need one of those cigarette-lighter chargers, which is around $10. In a nutshell: go to Best Buy/Circuit City and they’ll hook you up with the cables, install, and maybe even a car charger totallin
