How to highlight the colour contrasts of coloured materials?
An effective method is by giving the stone a so-called “wet look” which is based on the different refractive indexes of wet materials. Many suitable products are available in shops: the most common ones are specific and easy-to-apply mixtures (wax, polymers, solvents, etc.), and there are some that are long-lasting and resistant to atmospheric agents. This treatment is particularly recommended for some types of green marble.
