How to handle diaper rashes on girl infant that come and go?
My 17 month old girl has some sort of a rash in her diaper area. It goes all the way from the front all the way up to the top of her crack in the back. I’ve been putting desitin on it and making sure I change her diaper when she needs it, but it’s not going away. By now, a normal diaper rash would have gone away (on her) She had it about a month ago, and it went mostly away, except a little patch at the top of her crack in the back. Neither of my children have been prone to bad or frequent diaper rashes before, so I’m wondering if there is something else it could be and if I should be concerned enough to take her to her pediatrician, or if there is something I can do here at home to clear it up better. The rash seems to be raised somewhat and doesn’t appear the way most of the diaper rashes I’m used to have been. Thanks in advance.
