How to handle an extremley direct and obstinate friend?
Ok im not all about being polite when people annoy me but I have areally close friend and we always go through rough patches so this is what we did. She is always competiitve so when it gets on my nerves i sing “competitive” and whenever I read a good book or like a hot guy I become obsessed over it or him. so my friend will sing “obsessive” so just talk to her and tell her why youre upset and give her this little trick. The most important rule is that when the other person says the magic word u r not allowed to argue u just have to stop being “hmhmh” right away. So just suggest that u could say “opinionated” and when she finds a bad trait in u she can make up her own magic word! I know its stupid but it works 4 me so good luck!
