How to handle a telephone enquiry regarding money transfer?
When the postmaster receives intimation regarding the money transfer on telephone he should ascertain the particulars and then verify the particulars on the system. Thereafter the customer should be told in Yes or No language whether there is or not a money transfer advice. No details should be divulged. The customer has to come to the office and collect the payment. The customer is free to go to any other agent to collect the payment.
