How to Grow Tomatoes Upside Down
First you will need to get a large sturdy plastic hanging planter and a tomato plant. Using a 2′ hole saw to drill a hole in the bottom of your pot. Put a landscaping fabric cut to fit in the bottom of the inside of the pot. You will need to cut 1 slit in the fabric a few inches long, it will need to be long enough to fee the tomatoes roots through. Next, push the tomato plants roots through the hole (upside down). Then hang your planter and fill the pot with soil. This is a great idea for apartments or people not able to plant gardens and would love to enjoy fresh tomatoes.
