How To Grow Potash Alum Crystal?
Need: Potash Alum pencil 2 clear jars/beakers 1/2 cup of hot water string paper towle/coffee filter cup instructions: Pour hot water into a jar pour in potash alum till its disolves cover the jar with a paper towel to prevent dust from getting in let it sit ther for a couple of minutes till it starts to settle at the bottom of the jar Small crystals will from called “seed” crystals pour the saturated water into a diffrent jar take the biggest and best one tie one side of the string to the “seed” and the other side to a pencil place the pencil ontop of the jar with the string hanging adjust the string so the seed won’t touch the jar at all cover ther jar with paper towel the seed will start growing into a crystal grow it as big as you want!
