Mix about three tablespoons of sugar with a cup of vinegar, and soak your hair for about 15 min. Rinse and dry then put lemon juice in and let it dry by itself. That should get it out for you.

I have never tried it with sap but it should work because peanut butter works great for removing chewing gum from hair.
