How to get rid of mold in basement?
Mold in a basement may be pretty hard to get rid of. The musty smell may linger for months. Walls should be washed with a solution of water and bleach. Wear gloves and a mask when doing this! Use a de-humidifier to take the moisture out of the air. Mold thrives in damp areas. There are several commercial products available to keep the mold away. A good one is called Damp-Rid and is available at most hardware stores.
