How to get rid of a hotmail virus on Mac?
Apparently, my contacts list was hijacked when I opened an e-mail from a hotmail contact/friend who is also a facebook friend. Foolishly, I opened the “No Subject” message from her, but never opened the link that appeared to be some sort of a spam pharmaceutical advertisement. The next day, it appeared that all of my contacts had received the same spam message, but this time it had my hotmail account as the sender; the only way I even discovered it was that some of my email contacts no longer existed and it was reported that the message “failed” to be delivered. When I first tried to change my password, my software warned me that the certificate for viewing and changing my personal information was invalid, so I never went any further. Plus, a weird URL seemed to pop up simultaneously that changed the original URL like this: https://account.live.com/summarypage.aspx?lc=###&id=###&mkt=en-us&ru=http://by###w.bay###.mail.live.com/mail/options.aspx It looked to me that there was an “interlo
