Don’t do that!! I’m guessing that either you want a baby and he doesn’t, or you have an unstable relationship and you think a baby will “fix” things. Trust me, either way, it’s a BAD idea. First of all, he has a right to be part of a decision like that!! He shouldn’t be tricked into paying for a child and caring for a child he obviously doesn’t want for the rest of his life. Because let’s be honest, you don’t stop being a parent when your child is 18. He has a right to help make that choice!! And if you think that having a baby will make him stick around or stop cheating or fix all the fighting or whatever, you are wrong. A baby will not change a darn thing in an unhealthy relationship except cause new and worse problems.
