How to get in shape for swimming?
Start swimming now. Or if you don’t have that available, just try running and weight training. One work out I always like is a dry kick (I think it has a different name, but that is what we called it lol) you basically lay on your back, put your hands under your butt, lift you legs about 1 ft off the ground and kick, it’s a lot harder than it sounds. You also will benefit from just standard push-ups. Swimming is kinda tough though if you have never done it, so you won’t jump right in the water and be great at it. Like anything else, it takes a lot of practice. Swimming is one of the greatest things you can do for your body. Swimming is also great if your not keen on physical activity because most teams have different levels, and a lot of people join the team without any athletic experience. You will build total body strength and be much better physical shape than you have ever been.
