Tanning can be done through exposure to the sun or through the use of tanning beds. If you want to get tan through the exposure to sun rays then you should follow some steps which will help you to get a good tan. One of the first things to be done is to exfoliate the skin with the help of a loofah and exfoliating wash. If you want to get a tan without using that fake tanner that makes everyone look orange, follow these simple steps Tan in your own backyard. It’s cheaper and possibly healthier than tanning booths. All you need is your tanning lotion and a beach chair. Position the chair in the yard where the sun will hit you directly. Consider using self tanner which is safer and gives you a real looking tan. Make sure to find one that does not make you look orange. Always, always wear sunscreen when you tan! if you are just going to sit on the beach and tan for an hour put spf 8 on. Get a spray tan – they look great, are all over and don’t mean burning your skin to achieve it. Probably not what you wanted to hear, but tanning in the sun is really stupid – it will make your skin age quicker and you seriously risk cancer. I didn’t listen and have had two cancerous moles removed and one that was pre-cancer. I live in a cool climate and didn’t think it could happen to me. It’s really scary – and this was before I was 25. Really, the only good tan comes in a bottle…

ABSOLUTLY DO NOT! GO TO A TANING SALON!!! You get skin cancer 10 times faster there. You should put tanning oil on and go outside for an hour or so. Then come back in and take a shower to get the sweat and oil off. OR use olay fake tanning gell stuff. My mom used that and she got tan quickly. DO NOT get a spray tan. If you do, read reviews on it b4 you actually go. I personaly think that all they do is turn you orange and make you stink for 2 days, but thats just my opinion.
