UK reply. Take the tube (it’s the Piccadilly line from Heathrow) to South Kensington station. You don’t need to change trains. Forget buses. Tube is the best choice. Don’t even think about taking a taxi from the airport, will cost you a fortune and pointless for a South Ken address! You can then walk from the tube exit or hail a passing black cab if you have a lot of luggage/long walk/raining. Before leaving home put the post code of your destination into streetmap.co.uk and print it off to bring with you. It will show you where it is in relation to the tube exit (you may need to move the map around a bit to get both on one page) Bring lots of English money – it’s VERY expensive here! C/cards are used everywhere except for very small transactions! Tell your bank when getting currency you don’t just want 20 pound notes you want to some 10 and 5 notes.
