How to fix Simpson Maxidry 1200S Clothes dryer?

The fan drive belt on the dryer keeps falling off. I have replaced the fan and bearing assembly. The belt seems tight enough. White dust is found inside the belt cover when it is removed. Do I need a new plasic drive wheel for the end of the motor shaft for the other end of the belt?
