The following information is intended to assist individuals in placing these animals in a good home. First, please place a Classified Ad in your local paper..usually Found Ads are free. Also call your local Humane Society or SPCA with a description of the animal, leaving out a detail such as sex so you have the ability to weed out anyone who is not the true owner. If possible, please consider keeping the animal yourself. It is very important to have the animal spayed or neutered before adoption. There are low-cost spay/neuter programs available in the area. If your circumstances does not allow for a cat in your life, try to find a home for them yourself. If this is impossible, check into area groups that have adoption programs. You will recoup your expenses by asking for an adoption fee.
