How to file a case in consumer court against the telecommunication dealer for not providing assigned services?
There is called Consumer Redressal Forum, which are placed at Taluka, Distirct, State and National levels and one needs to approach them depending upon the amount involved. If you are a Mumbai resident, their office is at Cross Maidan near CST. You can initiate action against him on the ground of “deficiency in service”. Before approaching this Forum, I would advise you to prepare a ground for your case, which means you need to first correspond with the service provider, seek his response, exchange letters, while doing so ensure that you take acknowledgement of each and every letter delivered to him or send by Regd. A.D. Like this you need to build a case against him. In the correspondence make it clear to him that you may take up this matter to the consumer forum (a sort of threatening, you know). It is advisable to get the matter resolved at this stage only. Else you will have to waste money as well as time for resolution of your problem, as it consumes lot of time.
