How to fabricate granite countertops?
Fabricating granite countertops is a complex process that should only be attempted by trained industry professionals with the right material and equipment. Granite slabs vary in size but often measure 6 x 9 or larger, weighing more than 1,000 pounds each. Trucks, cranes and forklifts between our warehouse and fabrication facility transport individual slabs. Custom measured templates are carefully arranged on top of granite slabs and examined for fit and function. The bridge saw operator uses a laser-guided, water-cooled diamond bit saw to cut 1 thick granite slab, following the template.
