How to Examine a Companys Code of Ethics: Are They All the Same?
The main thing that stuck out to me was how much the code of ethics focuses on the reputation of the organization. I guess it never occurred to me that one would have to be in a position to defend a company with whatever is written. The Business of Sports Network reports on the business of sports and has five websites, four of which are specific to a sport. Something that is mentioned that I believe to be very important is that everyone understands what the job or point of the certain business is. If someone is writing for this company and they are focusing on things not related to business in sports, then they would not be a very good representation of the company. I think this also states that they are trying to provide the best product possible for their consumers. This seems to dictate a relationship in which writers should be able to follow a lead if they think it will make some noise, but at the same time, the editors and the owner have the power to turn down any idea that they d
