How to enable login password authentication with Domino LDAP server?

10

When a user attempts to log into the web interface, the Sendio ESP validates the e-mail/password combination by attempting a login to the Domino LDAP server. In LDAP lingo, this is called a “Bind” operation. The Domino server must be configured to allow username/password authentication. In Domino 6, log into the administration tool and navigate to the following tab: Server > Ports > Internet Ports > Directory. Make sure the appropriate checkbox is selected, save the change and then restart the ldap service. This can be done by issuing a “restart task ldap” command via the Domino Console window. Note: The location of this setting in Domino 7 might be located elsewhere.
