How to dye my hair blond when it is natural dark brown?
I am doing the process of dying my hair from dark brown to blonde. The best most reliable way to do it is to go to your salon and get full head of highlights every 6 weeks. I have done this twice and my hair is already quite blonde. It is quite a long and expensive process but it is the most trustworthy. I wouldn’t recommend doing it yourself- the box hair dyes are quite damaging to hair. I’m not saying that dying it at the salon is healthy, but it isn’t as harsh and as they are professional you can gurantee it won’t go orange which is the risk with box bleach. If you want to help lighten it yourself you should buy and use a blonde shampoo; John Freida Sheer Blonde Go Blonder is what i used and it is noticabley lighter after a week. Good luck!
