How to dye blonde hair black?
I know that if you try to dye already dyed hair, that it can turn strange colors, and if you used L’oreal Feria and mix it with another brand, you can potentially lose hair because the Feria has metallic flecks inside of it (hence the brilliant hilights). When I went to get my hair done at the salon, they asked me if I had use F’eria and if I had they would not be able to do my hair. What I would say, is that when you have dyed your hair, you have altered the pigment of your hair, and hair dye will actually “cling” to your hair strands in the cells and slowly wash out which is why hair fades over time. Adding dye onto already dyed hair can cause a strange color reaction with the dye in place. How do you fix this? You strip the hair of the pigment and then start with a clean slate when you reapply color.
