How to discharge static electricity?
increasing the humidity in your homes will discharge the static buildup. I had a hotel room that was really bad… would get shocked at night from the mattress frame… I turned the shower on hot and let the steam permeate the room and all the static charges subsided. You can also get a humidifier, make sure to run it as instructed in the manual. I recommend the Steam humidifier, heats the water until it steams.
