How to disassemble a Creative Zen Nano Plus mp3 player?

0

Hello everybody, my mp3 player is a Creative Zen Nano Plus (512 MB) and it’s quite a nice gadget. Unfortunately, dust has accumulated on the inside of the display cover so that it is difficult to read the display under certain light conditions. Creative customer support “offers” to send them the player for appropriate measures; however, that might be costly and in any case would take several weeks. As I use it on a daily basis, I’m not prepared to do that. So my plan is to disassemble the player myself, clean it and put it back together. I’ve searched the web, googled endlessly, but haven’t found any advise whatsoever. There’s only one website displaying photos of a disassembled Zen Nano Plus in different stages of the process (http://www.uselesshacks.com/photos/t…ls.php?album=2) which doesn’t have info on how to proceed. I would greatly appreciate any help on how to disassemble the player without destroying it or damaging it any more than absolutely necessary. The best thing to have
