How to disable Passive Mode in Cute FTP ?
Cute FTP (based on version 4.2) From your FTP main interface, select: Edit (from the main drop-down menu) > Settings > A dialog box called “Settings” now appears. Select Connections > Firewall > This opens the Connection/Firewall dialog box > UnCheck the box that says “PASV mode.” > Click OK Or Just click on “FTP” then “options” then go to the “firewall” tab. You should see a checkbox or radio button for “passive mode” or “PASV mode”. Just make sure that this is unchecked, and the number in the “port” field says “21”. It should already say this as this is the default port for FTP over the net.
