Some times it could be necessary that statistics file is deleted at OS level (when the statistics file is corrupted or when the file system is full). The statistics file is located in directory #data#. You can check, for example via Tr. AL11, the directory where this file is located: Tr. AL11 –> DIR_DATA. Here you would see the directory similar to: /usr/sap//DVEBMGSnn/data Shutdown the instance and only after that delete the statistics file from OS level.
