Use ubimkvol and ubirmvol tools (see here). For example, the below command creates a 128MiB volume on UBI device 0: $ ubimkvol /dev/ubi0 -N rootfs -s 128MiB and the following command removes it: $ ubirmvol /dev/ubi0 -n 0 For additional information, use ubimkvol -h and ubirmvol -h.
