Make sure that Countrywide knows that you and your attorney know that they are not reporting accurate information, there was no foreclosure, and they must update their records and your credit reports accordingly and follow the FCRA or you will file a lawsuit. A letter from you may get thrown in the garbage, but a letter from an attorney will get their attention. Make sure you include any and all paperwork to prove that a foreclosure did not take place.
